As of 1.1.2017
companies will be required to submit all Macron forms to the French
authorities via its online portal (SIPSI).
At
the moment the portal is still being developed to meet these requirements. What we do know is that the new system is
complicated: you must create an account and then manually enter individual driver
details.
Guretruck
is in contact with the French authorities at the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry
of Employment in an attempt to find a more “workable”
solution for our users, and we are looking to integrate our systems. We will keep you updated on developments.
Solution:
We
remind you that Macron certificates are valid for a maximum of 6 months. If
you renew your certificates in December 2016, they will be valid until at least
May 2017. This window of time will allow us to see how SIPSI develops.
We
also update you that new Macron certificates issued from www.truckcontroller.com provide Guretruck’s
SIRET number (French tax identification number).
Important
Reminder:
Please note it is a legal obligation that the representative, in this case Guretruck, has a copy of all Macron Certificates which you have issued to your drivers.
Guretruck
regularly receives calls from freight forwarders, loaders and French police to verify
if Macron certificates are valid. So
that we can better answer these queries, it is advisable that clients upload
all Macron certificates to www.truckcontroller.com or, preferably, that they are created in Truckcontroller:
