b. Enter the new section, button 3 called “Identification French Cameras”, in "Document Managenment" > "Upload Documents" |
| Then you will have: 2 options
Semi-Automatic Identification |
1- Select the vehicle FROM A LIST OF VEHICLES WITH ACTIVE LEGAL CONTRACT.
2- Selects the DRIVER FROM A LIST OF DRIVERS WITH ANY ACTIVE CONTRACT.
3- Truckcontroller will extract the driver info from the information already stored in Truckcontroller:
a. name, surname
b. date of birth
c. full address
d. driving licence number
e. driving licence issue date
If this driver information is not in Truckcontroller, then the company will have to fill it out manually.
4- Truckcontroller will created a French fine in "legal services", and upload the pdf with the proof that the identification was made correctly.

Fully automatic identification |
1- Select the vehicle FROM A LIST OF VEHICLES WITH ACTIVE TACHO CONTRACT.
2. Selects the fine date, that’s all.
Then, Truckcontroller will automatically.
a. detect the vehicle file from that date.
b. detect the driver driving on that date.
c. extract from the vehicle and driver tacho files all the relevant information
(Full name, date of birth, full address, driving licence number, driving licence issue date)
d. Truckcontroller will created a French fine in "legal services", and upload the PDF with the proof that the identification was made correctly.

Reminder
- In France the only way to appeal the final decision of these kind of fines, once the driver receives the fine in his name, is paying first and then appealing. It is quite difficult to make an effective legal defence.
- We have not seen a single instance where the French Public Treasury seized money directly from foreign bank accounts of drivers and the case is time barred after 1 year.
